Endless poetry - painting.

Although 'Endless poetry' forms part of the same series of warped portrait and scenario paintings by the artist largely focusing on lone figures or small groupings engaged in ambiguous, mundane or ludicrous tasks without any clear indication as to their ultimate purpose or meaning, it does deviate slightly in that it forms part of a sub-series of occasionally revisited still life's. This particular painting was made from a photograph of a cabinet within a gallery of occult objects, not taken by the artist but kindly loaned to, and has been recreated here more or less to life size.

This particular painting was completed in mid June 2017 in the artists studio located in south east London using oil, oil pastel and ink on a stretched canvas, size 100x80x2cm and is unframed.
